HINGHAM, Mass.- Last month the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado made its much anticipated debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, redefining the midsize truck segment by combining versatility and capability into a smaller vehicle for those who don't need a full-size truck. Since the truck's auto show debut, more details regarding it's showroom debut have been making their way to the internet and today we have the latest news on the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado's colors!

Chevy's newest truck has redefined the midsize truck segment, and the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado's colors are about to do the same! When the truck becomes available it will be offered in ten different colors, all of which are quite vibrant! The 2015 Chevy Colorado color options will consist of Laser Blue, Cyber Gray Metallic, Brownstone Metallic, Silver Ice Metallic, Red Rock Metallic, Red Hot, Summit White, Black, and Rain Forest Green. The tenth color will be Rally Yellow, but General Motors has said this color will not be available until later.

2015 Chevy Colorado Gets Manual Transmission

HINGHAM, Mass.- Last week the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado midsize truck made its debut at the LA Auto Show joining the Chevy truck line up. Now additional details about the truck are emerging and it’s been confirmed that the 2015 Chevy Colorado will get a manual transmission!

While details about it were not mentioned in the press release regarding the truck, GM North American President, Mark Reuss, confirmed that the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado will get a manual transmission! However, not all of the models will receive it. Only the base, rear-wheel-drive WT model will receive the manual transmission the midsize truck launches late in 2014.

Whether the Chevrolet Colorado LT model, Z71 model, or ZR2 off-roader will get the manual transmission later has not yet been confirmed, but we will be the first to let you know!

Sneak Peek: 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Spy Shots

HINGHAM, Mass.- When news broke that the Chevy Colorado would be coming back to the United States, truck fans rejoiced. Now with the latest sneak peek: 2015 Chevrolet Colorado spy shots, we're getting the closest look yet at what the midsize pickup truck may look like. The spotted 2015 Colorado prototype specifically revealed a closer look at the front and rear ends.

Spotted with less camouflage than before, the U.S. prototype appears to have a bolder grille than the current global model, which will aesthetically tie it to the full-size Silverado 1500 and HD models. However, differing from the full-size models are the 2015 Colorado's headlights which aren't the split full-height style. Although the shape of the headlight housing is still disguised, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado sneak peek spy shots reveal that the prototype's headlights feature round projectors. Compared to the earlier Colorado model, the 2015 edition features a similar cab and bed shape. But around back, the latest spy shots reveal the truck's tailgate which is designed with a small lip at the top.

Under the hood, details have not yet been confirmed. The global Colorado models are powered exclusively by diesel engines, however, the U.S. model could receive a four- or six-cylinder engine, along with the possibility of a turbodiesel four-cylinder. It won't be long until we know for sure since production of the 2015 Chevy Colorado is expected to begin in early 2014!
