Chevrolet Corvette Z07 Spy Shots

HINGHAM, Mass.- Many renderings of a seventh-generation Corvette Z06/Z07 have made their way to the web and while the high-performance 'Vette has not yet been confirmed, some recent Chevrolet Corvette Z07 Spy Shots give us a look at what's to come!

Various styling upgrades have been rumored, but the Chevrolet Corvette Z07 Spy Shots reveals a bit more detail. As you can see, high-performance tires house a new set of multi-spoke wheels which are fitted to the vehicle. Although camouflage covers most of the vehicle, you can tell that the prototype has a more pronounced hood bulge and extra vents.

While details have not yet been confirmed, a 6.2-liter V8 engine is expected to deliver 600-650 HP! The Corvette Z07 is also expected to be equipped with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a track-prepped suspension, and Tremec TR-6070 seven-speed manual gearbox.

Another mystery also lies in the Corvette's name. Many expect the seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette to drop the Z06 name in favor of the Z07 name. Only time will tell, and we may know sooner rather than later. It's rumored that the Corvette Z07 may make its debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show and is scheduled to arrive by 2016!
