2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Price Announced

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Price Announced

HINGHAM, Mass.- Chevrolet's new hardcore performance car made its debut in 2013, and now just ahead of the North American International Auto Show, the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 price has been announced! Chevrolet has announced the 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28 is priced at $75,000, making it one of the most expensive cars offered by the automaker!

While $75,000 for the new Camaro Z/28 sounds like a lot, it's important to remember that the impressive car is equipped with some of the best performance parts that money can buy. Plus, it has already proved that it is faster than supercars like the Type 991 Porsche 911 Carrera S and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 with a 7:37.47 Nürburgring lap time in the rain!

The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 features a 505-horsepower 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine with a six speed manual transmission. Only one package is available on the Z/28; a basic $1,150 comfort package that adds air conditioning and 5 additional speakers. The standard car is produced with only one speaker and without air conditioning and a tire-inflator kit to reduce weight. While the Camaro ZL1 is priced lower at just $57,350, the Z/28 boats a 300 pound advantage over the ZL1, which weighs in a 4,120 pounds.

If you can't wait to get your hands on cutting edge performance, you can order your Z/28 later this month and be one of the first to receive delivery this spring!
