On Monday Chevy launched a Corvette Z06 teaser website to promote the vehicle's debut at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. Up until now, details on the Corvette's specifications have been kept secret, but its power capabilites seem to have been accidentally leaked. According to the teaser website's description, which has since been removed, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will offer 620 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most advanced Corvette ever made!
To put things into comparison, the current Corvette Stingray offers 460 HP and 460 lb.-ft. of torque and the last Z06 put out 505 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Rumor has it that the new Z06 will be equipped with a supercharged version of the Stingray's 6.2-liter V8 engine, and if leaked horsepower ratings are correct, the 2015 Corvette Z06 will leave all of the brand's previous performance cars in the dust!
