Taking theft deterrence to the next level, a Theft Protection Package is available on the LT and LTZ models. The Theft Protection Package protects the vehicle through the use of glass breakage sensors, inclination sensors, and interior motion sensors. All of the sensors monitor the vehicle and if motion is detected inside the vehicle, if someone tries to break into the vehicle, or if it is lifted off the ground an alarm will sound. Additionally, key control systems make the vehicle more difficult to start or move without an authorized key. Should a potential thief makes it though all of these obstacles, there's still OnStar to back us up. OnStar can locate and slowdown a stolen vehicle, and even disable the ignition!
