Chevrolet Wins Autoweek's Best of the Best Awards

HINGHAM, Mass.- As the year comes to a close, we can look back on all of the vehicles that made their debut or were updated, changing the auto industry as we head into 2014. In Autoweek's Best of the Best Awards, Chevrolet won both categories: Best of the Best Car and Best of the Best Truck!

Chevrolet won Autoweek's Best of the Best Awards with the new Corvette Stingray and updated Chevrolet Silverado! Both qualified as a car or truck that was all new, or substantially new, and were then graded on drivetrain, ride quality, handling, exterior styling, fun, and whether or not the vehicle is a good value at the Michigan International Speedway. And in the eyes of the judges, it was a grand slam for Chevrolet in the effort and execution of the Stingray and Silverado.

This was the first time ever that one brand won both the car and truck category! Over the past year, automakers have invested time and money in the development of impressive new vehicles, but Chevrolet was able to capture the best-in-class performance, economy, fit and finish, and reliability to take home Autoweek's 2014 Best of the Best Car and Best of the Best Truck Awards!
