Chevrolet's SEMA 2013 Concept Cars

HINGHAM, Mass.- This year's SEMA show takes place on November 5th-8th in Las Vegas and automakers are preparing to show off their latest concept cars at the world's largest convention of automotive aftermarket parts and accessories. Last week, a preview of Chevrolet's SEMA 2013 concept cars revealed that some of the brand's most popular passenger cars, like the Impala, Sonic, and Spark EV, will appear at the show with cosmetic and performance-oriented upgrades!

Included in Chevrolet's SEMA 2013 concept cars is an even cooler version of the recently debuted Chevy Impala. The Urban Cool Impala Concept will be showcased at SEMA featuring custom-painted grille accents with matching 20-inch painted wheels, lowered stance, leather-trimmed seats stitched in orange, and black interior accents.

Along with the Impala, the Chevy Malibu was also recently revamped and an even more stylized Malibu concept will debut at SEMA 2013! The concept's 19-inch sterling silver finish wheels with matching paint and new performance style ground effects compliment the already powerful engine which delivers 295 lb-ft of torque. A Borla exhaust system adds a sporty kick and a cold-air induction system supports greater performance.

Chevrolet's SEMA 2013 concept cars include three distinct Sonic models. Drawing on the legacy of the automaker's high-performance vehicles, the Performance Sonic RS concept features appearance upgrades along with engine, suspension, and brake upgrades like cold-air induction and high-flow exhaust. The Ricky Carmichael All-Activity Sonic concept features an all-new performance package with parts from Chevrolet Performance and custom graphics on the exterior. A fun take on the Sonic will be seen in the Personalization Sonic concept which is equipped with several performance enhancements and chrome accents.

One of the most impressive Chevy concepts to appear at SEMA is the Chevrolet Spark EV Tech Performance concept which delivers more torque than a 1969 Camaro SS with a V8! Transformed from a mini electric car to a mini muscle car, the Spark concept can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 7.5 seconds!

Chevrolet's concept car line-up for SEMA 2013 also includes the Personalization Cruze Diesel concept which will show off an updated front fascia and chin spoiler for a more athletic look. But the most impressive part of the Cruze Diesel concept is its ability to travel 717 miles on a single tank of gas thanks to an EPA-estimated 46 mpg on the highway!
